Amber you're a Weiner!
see more dog and puppy pictures
Yay! This was sooo much fun!
To calculate the winner I numbered each commenter in order (skipping over any duplicate posts) and I used the random number generator found here. I couldn't figure out how to post it on here to be all official-like.
I wanted to give you all presents! I'll have to hold more giveaways.
Well, lovely Amber, you won! Now you have to make the large life-changing decision of which book you would like. What'll it be?!
On another note... I'm 30 today. Thats 3-0. I'm no longer a twenty-something.
And do you know what else? Some 20 year old called me "Ma'am" at the pool this week. Ma'am?! ~sigh~ But as B reminded me, I made it. Every birthday is a celebration!
My first 30 years have been fantastic, amazing, superb. I'm not exactly where I thought I would be but I'm in great place. Heres to the next 30 years!

Happy birthday to you!
Have a great and wonderful day, Dandy (or Dawn)! Mwah!
Happy Birthday!!! Have an absolutely wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Amber! I'm curious as to what book you chose!
ReplyDeleteOn another note ...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAWN! I hope that your day is a very special one. 30 is a piece of cake! I promise you, in 10 years, you'll think that 30 is is pretty darn young ... and it is!
I soooo love that Tim McGraw song! Happy 30th! You have learned what I learned a few days before I turned 49 --never, ever complain about getting a year older. It is better than the alternative. Mine was a stroke, yours cancer, and strangely-- I think we are fortunate to discover just how lucky, how blessed we are with every year we are given! And how sad for the people that complain about the milestone birthdays or lie about their ages.
ReplyDeleteOne favor.. you have to do a birthday list of 30 things you want to do before you turn 31. It is a gift you give yourself and your life. You can see my example here: http://erickfam.blogspot.com/2009/03/taking-peek-at-52.html
This wasn't my idea, but I LOVE it!! Happy, happy day! Happy life!
Happy Birthday, Dandy!!! Aw, don't get startled about those "Ma'am" calls. I'm almost getting used to it by now ... and I'm old and white-haired. LOL
ReplyDeleteHAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!! If you lived here we would be the same school year! Hope you have a lovely day - look forward to hearing some great celebration stories! xxx
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, Congratulations and Happy Birthday! 30 years old is an amazing place to be. If I remember mine, it was a time where I was adjusting really to being an adult. All that scariness of being new to the adult world is gone and in its place is confidence and strength. You still have all the child like qualities about you but you are more refined and mature. This is almost the perfect place to be. This is where I truly believe you will make a difference in the next 10 years. This will be a stage of amazing growth and blessings from God.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to that future with anticipation and excitement. God is just beginning to bless your live.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeletePersonally I loved my 30s much more than my 20s. And I like my 40s even more.
And birthdays are there to celebrate life. It's a chance to stick the finger to the gods and show them we've survived another year despite the shit they've thrown at us :)
Oh, and I also wanted to pop over and say hi, and thanks for taking the time to visit and comment on my blog :)
Happy Birthday to you,
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to you,

ReplyDeleteCongrats to Amber, and a very happy birthday to YOU! Hope it was fantastic. :) My hubby turned 30 last year, while I was in the throws of morning sickness DEEE-Lux. He got chinese food from the closest buffet and a pre-made pie from another local dive. He felt so speshal. :P
ReplyDeleteI know I'm late in wishing you a happy birthday but I hope that it was truly a wonderful day for you. I hope that all of your birthday wishes came true!

And don't worry about 30, because I've been 30 for 5 whole years now and I still act like I'm 12.
AAAH!! I can't believe I just saw this - we were out of town all this past week at a family reunion and I pretended like I didn't have to bring my computer with me. I used to say I never win anything, but now I can say I've only ever won one thing! But I need some serious advice - which book do I choose?!? Help!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday!! And many more on channel 4! Congrats to Amber!
