Dandy Baby, a baby food blog

IMG_3421

Well, a few days ago I decided that instead of boring you to death with baby food recipes I would just start a new blog for it. I haven't decided yet whether I will try to gain some traffic on it or if it will be more of a personal recipe file but it's out there now.

I know that some of the lovely ladies (and gentlemen) of the recent baby boom will or have been making some baby food and I'd love to share recipes with them. I'd also love to hear what you all are making. (hint, hint)

As of today I've just transferred some previously posted recipes but I'll be adding recipes weekly, at the very least.

Soooo, if you feel the urge, I'd love for you to stop by Dandy Baby and visit!

  1. Love this! My little girl is only 6 weeks old, but I'm already looking forward to when she starts solids and I have my baby food maker ready to go :-)

  3. What a great idea! Molly is already into finger foods and will hardly let me spoon feed her anymore. Baby food is always a short phase for us.
I'll be looking for some good puree's though. Still like to sneak them in the boys food ;)

  9. Keep blogging away, it is a great outlet and at the very least will help you capture your food memories .

  10. I love this recipe ! Reminds me of you making soap at home, Mom.
And it's fun to see photos of your house there and see
Dad in that comfy chair we sat in when we visited,
attempting to use the slow internet :)

I can't wait to hear how the soap turned out in terms
of using it. Does it smell different since it is made with
animal fat? Any other differences from vegetable-based soap?

    Love you!
