Top of the World Sunset
Last night B took me to a neighborhood called Top of the World in Laguna Beach. He rides some of the trails in the area and there is a park as well. It's basically the very top of the Laguna Hills area and overlooks all of the coast.
There are some houses perched up on the hillsides but not that many. I want to live in this house. Can you imagine? Just look at that walkway. Basically on the left side there is the garage and what appears to be a room of some sort and then the walkway leads to the main house.
Here is a blurry view from the front of the house. You can't see the main part of the home here as it wraps around the hillside. They have an amazing view from every single room.
Along the ridge to our left is another neighborhood. Do you see that patch of green grass? That is the field for the middle school. I can't imagine being able to see the ocean from all my classrooms.
We watched the sunset into the ocean as little quails hustled down the paths around us.
So incredibly peaceful up here, I'd love to come back and take a hike thru the trails.
Couples and families came thru sporadically and stopped to take in the view. It seems as though this was a normal after dinner walk for some.
There were couples taking engagement shots and this couple just sitting quietly.
Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes! It was a lovely day.

Wow. Can you imagine having that view every day???
ReplyDeleteI love California. Every time I go I don't want to come home. It's just different than anywhere else I've ever been. Lucky you to be able to see that whenever you want. Glad you had a good b-day:)
