One-on-one with the grandparents

B's parents came out for the weekend and spent some nice quality time with the Peanut. It was actually the first time they had him all to themselves. The other times they've seen him they had to share him with other relatives.



Although Peanut hadn't seen them since February he went right to them. Boy did he bask in the grand-parental love.

I was able to piddle around my incredibly clean apartment (thanks to my mother-in-law who cannot stop cleaning) and do things like read and craft. 11 hours after they left I wondered how I managed to dirty the place up already.



I fit in 2 different baby-free outings with my free childcare. To be honest, I had already committed to my outings and B had to work all weekend so we didn't spend much time with all of us together.

I would have felt bad but I have a sneaking suspicion that they didn't care where we were as long as the baby was with them.



Peanut was a good boy despite his eye and ear infections and his cold with crackly cough. He's either a really happy baby or he paid attention when I told him I'd serve him nothing but gerber's green beans for a month if he was bad.

I believe all technical issues have been remedied and my impromptu blogging break is over.
