Happy Days

IMG_2366

Have I told you all how much I love you? Well I do. I was feeling uncertain and anxious on Thursday and I hesitated to post about it. But then I read all your comments and you just... well you all bring sunshine into my life. I hope you know that.

I'm feeling so much better and I'm ready to just focus on today, this week and all the good things happening in my life. There may be some bumpy roads ahead of us but I am positive that things will work out...as they always do. I'm headed out the door but I needed to stop by and thank you.

Today we watched my godson receive his first communion! Oh I remember my own like it was yesterday. We'll talk more about that later. Seeing the kids today was so amazing and adorable and hilarious. Then we came home and took a nap. It was absolutely delicious. I love naps. Now I'm heading out to the store so I can start some cooking for tomorrow. We're having a potluck at my mom's house.

May I also say that I received a Mother's Day card from a relative and a Mother's Day present from my best friend?! I'm tickled pink....errr...blue.

So I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend and a very loverly Mother's Day!!

Any plans?

  3. We're taking brunch to my shut in Mother-in-law, and then the girls and their boys are coming for the Mr.'s BBQ. And then I'm hoping for a trip to a local arboretum--that I have never visited before!

  4. So glad that you are feeling better. Everything has a way of working itself out. My mother loves to say, "It will be okay." She's right. It will. It may not be the way I would have chosen, but it will be okay. Happy Mother's Day.

  15. Well, of course we love you too :) Glad things are looking up. I know that feeling of uneasiness all too well. You'd think by now I'd realize everything will be fine, but still.. I guess it's just human nature. A very happy belated Mother's Day to you, my friend! -Tammy
