If you'd like to see what kind of diet I am observing in the last few weeks before the wedding head over to OC Metblogs to see
my review on Eat Chow.
I have to say that my first Fried Green Tomato experience was fantabulous!
Do you make/ eat fired green tomatoes? How is it prepared?
YUM!!!!! What a great picture!
ReplyDeleteThat looks good but not the way I have ever eaten fried green tomatoes. When I make them, they aren't as fancy but they sure do taste good.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of the restaurant but the food looks delicious.
I love that place! Every time Im in Newport with my friends we stop by there :)
ReplyDeleteNever eaten Fried Green Tomatoes, but I loved the book and movie!! : )
ReplyDeleteMan that looks fantastic! It has been years since I made fried green tomatoes. I think I dredged them in flour and corn meal with spices like pepper and such then fry it up in butter. I'm sure there are some great recipes on the net if you google.
ReplyDeleteWOW! I love your write up about the restaurant! Your review was fantastic!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics. You are just an amazing girl, Dawn, ... you do it all and are great at it!
I'm proud to know you!!
My neighbor is a native Cajun, and they go on and on about fried green tomatoes. You actually make them sound good!
ReplyDeleteMmmm, fried green tomatoes! I've only had the good ones once... I need to get myself to Alabama or something!
ReplyDeleteOh yum! I'm thinking I'm going to have to make a detour the next time I head down to San Diego to see the family!
ReplyDeleteThe picture was completely tempting when I opened your blog page this morning. Not sure I would venture a try at that cause I can't get past the green part!
ReplyDeleteLove and Hugs ~ Kat
