Don't worry friends I haven't lost it under the wedding pressure!
I think.
My mom saw these waaaay before we even got engaged and decided that we must have them for the wedding.
They are called Photo Stamps which is quite catchy because they are stamps with photos on them. The sad part is that I actually had to google to remember what the site is called.
Did I mention that there are only 21 days left? Thats 3 weeks.
Just typing that made me want to throw up. But I mean that in the best way possible. You know, like a positive throwing up type of feeling. ~backpedaling fast and getting no where~
Soooo, ummmm, yeah. Oh the stamps! After we had our engagement shoot Adrienne rushed a handful of edited pictures back to us so that we could order these.
Adrienne, have I told you lately that I love you?
A surprising amount of people noticed them.
I wonder how many cute postage stamps I never notice because I am too busy tearing thru the envelope.
Lets not talk about the postage cost of sending those invitations. It had to do with them being square and a bit too thick.
I'm getting married! MARRIED! Did you know?
I'm just going along my business when all of a sudden it hits me.
Its like this: (picture me in the kitchen- looking gorgeously thin in my cupcake apron)
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla, mix, mix, mix, add flour and baking soda, stir, stir, stir, stir, OMG I'M GETTING MARRIED!, clap, clap, clap, stir, stir, stir, add chocolate chips, stir, stir, stir, scoop dough onto cookie sheet, smile, clap, clap, clap, pop cookies in oven, stare at dish towel on oven door, cry, smile, wonder why you are still standing in front of oven, look around to see if anyone is watching you.
You know, like that. Somebody pinch me! Side of crazy anyone?
Those stamps are absolutely wonderful. I think you should print out this post and post it to yourself using one of them, to keep forever so that one day you'll reread it and remember how you felt.
ReplyDeleteAnd if you printed several versions of the stamp you will have to mail "several" to yourself. LOL. Seriously, what a sweet idea!
ReplyDeleteThose are fun! I really love the one of you and B on the bikes. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited and happy for you!!

ReplyDeleteMy daughter and I have been looking at your blog posts regarding your wedding for quite some time and even though she is only 16, she is loving all the old vintage stuff. She loves all the unique items you have received and even how creative all your wedding plans are. I think secretly she is keeping a journal of ideas for when her time comes.
ReplyDeleteLove these stamps! So darn cute!
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
I love these! They look great and are a neat addition to a wedding invitation!
ReplyDeleteMy mom bought these for my son when he was about, well I don't remember but it was many stamp prices ago:) They are so cute and your photos look great on them. It will be a fun way to send out the invitations with that on there. I would notice if a card came to me with one on the envelope.
ReplyDeleteThey turned out just perfectly. I do love your attention to detail.
